GrantsWith concrete action to help those who really need it, SOW established the grant program to care for impoverished families or individuals and provide temporary relief to them during their particularly difficult times. These relief efforts, such as monetary support and tangible goods, will maintain their basic living needs while we gather other resources to help them out of the woods and return to their normal life.
Program Targets
- Applicant or their immediate family member suffers serious medical condition AND when their annual household income is below the minimum living standards for their city after the deduction of out-of-pocket medical expenses.
- family consisting of a single parent with a child or children and have difficulty in locating employment.
- Families or individuals who had lost their home due to special reasons.
- Families or individuals in other unspecified difficulties.
Grant Schedule: Typical support schedule is for a term of 3 months. During a grant term, we will provide the grantee with information; to help them sign up for other qualifying grants and aids from the government or find employment.
